The sun had yet to set, despite the lateness of the fall day, casting long shadows across the ground. These fragmented into strands of sunlight and darkness as they passed through the trees and hedges of the garden, woven into an ethereal quilt that lay over two lovers as they reclined on a couch hidden in a secluded corner. Much like the beams and shade danced with each other, Nedra’s slender fingers were entwined with Iluvayen’s own fair digits. Though it had been a long day for both of them, it had seemed far longer to Nedra. The image that kept flitting through her mind was that of Pryss’ reddened face as Origins - Nedra and Piyoa 2b

While I usually only get sick once or twice a year, it's usually at an extremely inconvenient time, and this illness was no exception. Fever, chills, digestive mess, the usual flu suspects. The only problem was is that it was the day before my two finals. I got them extended to today, only to have not fully recovered, yet still get up at 5:30AM to haul my ass over to St. Paul to take both back to back. Somehow managed to do pretty well on them. Now, it's time for Christmas break...though I'd just settle for being able to actually eat a full meal and sleep uninterrupted.

'S cool. I've hit a patch of depression it seems, and can't motivate myself to do much of anything, so I can understand the rut thing. Just keep trying ideas and maybe a streak of inspiration'll hit. Hope things are working out in your personal life even if your artistic life is a bit slow. I'm in a funk all-round for the most part.

You're welcome! Been reading Wapsi for quite a while now, and it's interesting to read a strip set in the Twin Cities and recognize the landmarks! Been attempting to get down to Minneapolis more.
